Next Pack Meeting!!!

Howdy Parents and Cubs,

Our next get together will be for a Pack Meeting this Friday (5-16-08) at 6:30 pm.
Unfortunately, we will not be meeting at our usual place due to a wedding reception!
So in light of this previously scheduled engagement (no pun intended), we will be meeting at the Stake Center on Sunnyside Drive!!!

This is going to be a great meeting.
Deb Bore has invited a member of our law enforcement community to come and talk about crime prevention.
This is especially important for our Bears, who are required to meet a police officer!
Also, the lack of PM's these past few months have allowed the guys to accrue a large amount of awards.
So yeah, it's time for the Leaders to pay up.

Sadly, Vince and I won't be able to attend due to some vacation plans.
Nonetheless, my heartfelt congrats go out to all our boys who worked hard to earn their loot.

Pinewood Derby!!!

***ANNOUNCEMENT***

To all the Families and Friends of the East Village Den,
Tomorrow (Friday, April 18), our Pack will be holding its annual Pinewood Derby race!
It will be held at the LDS Church building on Wasatch Blvd.
Cars will be weighed in between 6:00 pm and 6:30.
Our first race starts at 6:30 pm sharp!

For those of you who have never attended a PWD before, it is a Cub Scouting tradition where the boys race gravity-powered cars they have carved themselves out of a block of wood.
It's always neat to see their creativity at work!

Blue & Gold Banquet!!!

Hello to all!

Our annual Blue & Gold Banquet is scheduled for this Friday (02-22-08) at 6:00 pm.
We'll be meeting at the LDS 3rd Stake Building on Sunnyside Drive in between Sunnyside Park and University West Village. (Call me if you need more details on directions.)

All families and friends of Pack 4684 are invited to attend in celebration of Cub Scouting. This year's theme is "Fun in the Sun." (Time to break out those summer clothes!)

Dinner will be provided. However, the planning committee has assigned our Den with providing potato chips for the meal. That being the case, I ask that each scout family bring a big bag of chips to donate to the meal effort.

ALSO... Our Den is scheduled to perform a skit for the party, so I ask that all our Cubs be at the building no later than 5:30 pm so we can rehearse and help the Cubmaster set up.



Let's do our part to make this the best Blue & Gold Banquet ever!!!
